Yarn Crafts Course: Punchneedling for Beginners

In this course, students will learn the basics of punch needling.
Class Experience
Punch Needle art is a perfect precursor to learning embroidery or crochet. Many people find punch needling easier than embroidery as it's quicker than traditional hand stitching and that is why it is a perfect craft for this tween age range. This course will teach the very beginning basics of punchneedling. I will have two cameras - one on my face and one on my project and I will go through each step multiple times for every learner. In addition to being a lifelong craft enthusiast and owning my own small crafts based small business, I have taught English, Language Arts, Writing, Literature, Reading, Social Studies, & History throughout my 17 year career as a middle school teacher. I am a certified grades 4-9 teacher in the state of Ohio and I have my K-12 Gifted & Talented endorsement. Specifically, I have much experience working with gifted, neurodiverse, and/or twice exceptional students. Other than basic school subjects, I have also taught social emotional skills, speech & debate, chess, drama/acting, sewing, and so much more!

1 file available upon enrollmentThe learner can choose any punch needle kit he/she desires. I will post an extensive list of good, beginner friendly kits to purchase prior to class.
The use of scissors and the punch needle tool (not overly sharp) are the only things to be cautious of when taking this course.
