In this course, students will learn the basics of punch needling.

Class Experience

In addition to being a lifelong craft enthusiast and owning my own small crafts based small business, I have taught English, Language Arts, Writing, Literature, Reading, Social Studies, & History throughout my 17 year career as a middle school teacher.  I am a certified grades 4-9 teacher in the state of Ohio and I have my K-12 Gifted & Talented endorsement.  Specifically,  I have much experience working with gifted, neurodiverse, and/or twice exceptional students.  Other than basic school subjects, I have also taught social emotional skills, speech & debate, chess, drama/acting, sewing, and so much more!

The learner can choose any punch needle kit he/she desires. I will post an extensive list of good, beginner friendly kits to purchase prior to class.
The use of scissors and the punch needle tool (not overly sharp) are the only things to be cautious of when taking this course.
