This class is going to review and teach letter sounds to increase fluency and accuracy in reading CVC words with phonics. Each letter sound will be explicitly taught, and students will be practice reading and spelling words with that sound.

Hi! Thank you for your interest in this course! This course will be a review of all letter sounds in 6 sessions. This is a chance for students to increase their fluency, accuracy and confidence in reading CVC words. Each session will focus on a few letters and one vowel, and the last session will be a review of all letter sounds. By the end of this course, my goal is for students to have increased their accuracy, fluency and confidence in reading CVC words.
I have a masters degree in language literacy, I am a certified dyslexia teacher and I have been a first grade teacher for six years.
