Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a snow globe? In this special class, we'll imagine together and then create a personalized snow globe! Students will be welcomed to class with the read aloud, "If I Lived in a Snow Globe" by Chelsea McGothlin. Afterwards, we'll talk about what we would do if we lived in a snow globe. Students will then be asked to design a picture of themselves in a snow globe and write at least a sentence about what they are doing in their snow...
I have been a licensed educator for over 10 years. Last year I was a STEM electives teacher for grades Prek-1st grade. I also taught at Cognia certified STEM school. I'm passionate about sparking creativity through stem projects in students.

-Glass Jar (old food jars work great: spaghetti sauce jars, olive jars, coconut oil jars, pickle jars, etc.) -Laminated photo of your child hot glued to the inside lid of the jar! It works great if you can do this before class -Water -Glycerin or clear glue Extras (anything your child would like to add to their snow globe): -Glitter -Fake Snow -Small Erasers -Plastic Beads -Small Plastic Figurines
We will need to hot glue a laminated picture of your child to the lid. I suggest doing this before class, but if they need to do it during class, an adult's help will be needed.
