I am Minecraft Education Edition certified and a highly experienced and actively certified educator with a Master of Science: Curriculum and Instruction VI degree and multiple active teaching certifications including School Library Media Technology Specialist (PreK-12th grade), English Language Arts multiple certifications across multiple grade ranges, and more. I homeschool my own young Minecrafter and am an avid Minecrafter myself. 

As a neurodivergent person myself, homeschooling my own neurodivergent young Minecraft learner, I design my courses to be inclusive and accessible. I continuously seek to be affirming and empowering towards every learner in every class.

Homework Offered
Learners are invited to post their Minecraft build and activity images or videos. Responsive, empowering, inclusive feedback to all learner's build posts and questions. 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

*I will be reading with the book pages displayed. Learners do not need to be able to read, or have copies of the books used, to actively participate in this Flex class.

*There are no live meetings in this asynchronous Flex course. 

*Gamer tags are not required to be shared as we are not gaming together in a server/realm in this course. 

*Minecraft gaming app/software is needed (and not provided) for this class.

*Learners will be playing Minecraft on their own devices.

*Learners should be familiar with playing Minecraft on their own device.

*Completing the challenges and viewing/printing of any of my created content is completely optional. 

*Please encourage your learner to give only positive and supportive feedback to other learners.

*Minecraft contains cartoon type violence without blood or gore.
