This flex class focuses on critical literary comprehension skills that kids need to know. Students will work on citing evidence from the text, identifying central messages, describing characters and parts of a book, comparing and contrasting, describing relationships, sequencing, and cause and effect. By participating in the lessons, students will also improve their writing skills.
Homework Offered
In this class, students will work through the lessons via Nearpod. Each lesson should take between 30 minutes to one hour to complete. Students can complete these assignments individually.Assessments Offered
Since this is an academic course, students will receive a letter grade and a certificate messaged to them at the end of the course. Grades are based on the work they put in the Nearpod lessons.Grades Offered
