In this ongoing class, learners will take a journey through the history of fashion designers. Learners will delve into the rise of popular fashion houses and their most influential designs, as well as legacy to fashion.
Class Experience
The history of fashion design is a great class for budding fashionistas and designers. Each week, the history of a different fashion designer is explored. Learners will discover how each designer got their start, their rise to fame, popular designs and legacy to fashion. Each class is structured with a brief instructor lead visual lesson. Learners will improve their understanding of fashion designers and how they may inspire their own work.
I previously taught communications and marketing communications at the college level as both an online and in-person professor. Since 2020, I founded my online retail shop, in which I design all the clothing, do the sales and marketing. I have an international client base, and do custom designs as well.
