Students will improve their reading comprehension skills and writing skills by diving deeper into diverse topics in banned picture books.
I am certified in Elementary Education and trained to deliver effective small group reading instruction.
Homework Offered
Any homework will be optional and will include extended writing prompts to further explore the book's themes.Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
A worksheet with the reading comprehension questions and writing prompts will be provided. However, this worksheet does not need to be printed. The questions and writing prompts will be provided on the screen as well. Students should have access to paper and pencil.

Our banned book club will read books with diverse topics. Be sure to always do a quick search of the book we will be covering to make sure you're comfortable with your child reading and discussing it's context.
