Teen Life Skills - Money Management
In a 1-1 session, I will teach basic money management skills to include making a budget, savings, clarifying needs and wants and using real world numbers to help solidify these concepts.

Student will be able to understand what a budget is and why it is important. Students will understand what are necessary expenses and how to utilize funds to cover basic needs. Students will understand the difference between debit and credit.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Human Services. My focus included resource management. I also maintain the budget within the home and have created and followed a plan to ensure financial success.
Homework Offered
The types of homework that will be assigned are sheets that will apply to a student's personal life. This will include scenarios where they will budget for when they are working and acquire expenses. I will also have students complete reflection sheets to take ownership of their learning. This will include their strengths and areas of improvement.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
