Each Ms. Rae will share a different story with book lovers. Kiddos who have not started reading, will enjoy listening to the story, while those who are working on their reading skills will enjoy being able to read the screen shared version of he book. The collection of stories are carefully selected to provide diversity and allow kiddos to reflect on self-esteem, friendships, the world around them, culture; however, some books are presented because they are hilarious. Reading and Listening Comprehension Awareness of Our Surroundings Observational Skills Development
Ms. Rae has worked as a professional teaching artist in New York City Public Schools and Private schools for over 5 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and spent two years studying psychology including child psychology. As a teaching artist, she participates in annual professional development workshops that include techniques on building a positive classroom, serving students with physical and cognitive limitations, and designing social-emotional curriculum.

Parents are responsible for deciding whether their is capable of using scissors or glue. All art projects can be completed with scissors or glue if a parent chooses. A list of supplies is made available when the class video is posted, as this will allow families to plan accordingly.
