Do you love to be creative and build things? In this ongoing class students will be encouraged to use their creativity and problem solving skills to complete a new simple STEM challenge each week using easy to find or inexpensive materials.

Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2

In this ongoing class students will be learning without even knowing it through fun hands on activities! Each lesson will begin with a mini lesson to provide background knowledge on the topic. For example- if we are building a bridge that needs to hold weight without falling, we will learn a bit about bridges and how they work before our building time begins.  If students finish during the class time, they can improve their design, begin a new design, or  present their designs to the class....

Students will use the engineering design process to work through stem challenges.  The challenges will help to improve their critical thinking and logical reasoning skills. They will also learn to be more persistent and creative.

I am a certified elementary school teacher with ten years experience teaching hands on science and STEM lessons for Kindergarten-4th grade.
