STEM: Science Technology Engineering Math (3rd-4Th Grade)

Looking for creative thinkers and engineers! In this ongoing class students will be encouraged to use their creativity and problem solving skills to complete a new STEM challenge each week using simple materials that can be found at home.

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
Students will use the engineering design process to work through stem challenges.  The challenges will improve their critical thinking and logical reasoning skills. They will learn to be more persistent and creative.
I am a certified elementary school teacher with ten years experience teaching hands on science and STEM lessons for Kindergarten-4th grade.

Students will need: 
A printout of the recording sheet or notebook paper to plan their design and record their findings.

Tape/Glue
Scissors
A variety of building supplies such as cardboard, empty toilet paper/paper towel rolls, straws, craft sticks, foil, paper clips, plastic bags, rubber bands, paper/plastic/styrofoam cups, pom poms, cotton balls, pipe cleaners, string/yarn, etc.
Materials from the recycle bin may also come in handy.
Students may need help and/or supervision when using scissors.
