In this class, students will learn Spanish vocabulary, greetings, the Spanish alphabet, proper pronunciation of the vowels, and much more. These classes will be a great introduction to the Spanish language!
Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner Level
In this on-going loop class, we will meet two times per week. During the holiday season, we will learn all about winter and holiday-themed words, such as snow, blizzard, ice, frost, cold, gifts, tree, decorations, family, festive, jolly, etc. We will also continue with themes such as the following: • The Weather • Days of the week • Seasons • Spanish Alphabet *You can jump in at any time, as this class is set on a loop rotation. Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, Spanish greetings, and simple sentence structure. I will use methods such as songs, games, visuals, and flashcards to help the students engage and interact in the lessons. I will provide worksheets with each class. This will help them maintain all they have learned during the lessons. My goal is that these classes will help in laying a great foundation for speaking Spanish.
I have been speaking Spanish for over thirty years, and I have had many years of experience teaching Spanish. I have much experience translating into the Spanish language, including the translation of three books into Spanish.
