How are thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impacted by other people or social norms? In this class, we will cover major topics in the field of social psychology. Social psychology encompasses a large variety of topics including: aggression, leadership, social norms, prejudice, helping behavior, friendship/romantic relationships, group behavior, conformity. Each week (Monday at 7am Eastern) I will post several recorded video lectures, an assignment, a critical thinking question, and a quiz....
I have a PhD. in psychology from the University of Arizona and taught college classes for over ten years.
Homework Offered
The homework for the class is optional, but recommended.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Each week we will have a written assignment, critical thinking short answer question, and quiz.Grades Offered
I will keep a gradebook for each learner by request and assign them a letter grade.
