3 files available upon enrollmentTeacher will provide a detailed list of products and tools they will be using. We have provided a detailed supply list which includes professional and budget friendly options. However, teachers emphasize ingenuity and improvisation. There are ways to achieve a look with substitutions and students may ask about suitable household or drugstore substitutions. Additionally, students receive a printable facechart and vision board. Students will need a quiet, organized, well lit workspace with a mirror. PLEASE NOTE: The costume & prop design supply list includes a large array of examples of items and tools that are useful for DIY costumes and props. Not ALL of these are required. The Mentor MUA will go over some common uses for these items and will provide suggestions for Student MUAs creative vision.
Parental supervision is recommended. While this camp is not intended for SFX makeup looks specifically, SFX looks including blood/gore effects are generally permissible. Please be aware that some students may find SFX makeup effects disturbing. Students may be required to use scissors, liquid latex, fake blood, prosthetics, spirit gum.
