Reading Excellence: Comprehension, Fluency and Vocabulary
Reading tutoring class to help students with reading fluency, learning new vocabulary, phonics and reading comprehension. The course will vary depending on the students level in reading.
Class Experience
US Grade 1 - 3
Beginner - Intermediate Level
This will be a 25 minute class. This listing has availability, but it is not the same days and times each week. You are free to book, but its not ongoing. Students will learn new vocabulary words, practice reading fluency, reading comprehension, conversation skills, and phonics. The teacher will share her screen and students will complete exercises. Students will read some great stories while practicing their fluency skills and answering reading comprehension questions that will require them...
To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.This class is taught in English.
Learning Goals for the student: Vocabulary words Phonics Reading fluency Reading Comprehension Basic Alphabet Knowledge and sounds Digraphs Diphthongs/Vowels Any other additional goal the parents want the child to reach the teacher is willing to help improve also.
I have five years of teaching English. I have taught students from all around the world from children to adults. I have my TEFL certificate which allows me to teach English as a second language. At my prior jobs I worked with VIPKID and Cambly which are both an online platform used to teach students English online.
