Does your student need help comprehending what they are reading or answering reading comprehension questions? If so this one class is a great fit for your student! In this class, I will explain and demonstrate skills and strategies to help them be successful in taking reading classroom tests, standardized tests, state tests, and EOG's. In this course, I will teach how to comprehend what they are reading by utilizing a strategy that involves a combination of note taking summarizing sections...
Your student will gain further knowledge, more confidence, and a firmer understanding of how to comprehend what they are reading and navigate how to find answers and answer reading comprehension based questions.
I have been teaching this strategy for the past four years. I have been in the classroom setting for four years teaching grade 2nd-5th teaching all subjects consisting of: math, reading, history, science, spelling, and grammar. I also have masters course work in elementary education.
Homework Offered
Optional assignments will be posted in the classroom.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
