This course is designed for children who are learning English as their second language, who have at least basic reading skills and seek to improve their fluency, comprehension, speaking and imagination.

Beginner Level
This English reading course is designed for students learning English as a second language, who can read at least at a beginner/elementary level and want to improve their fluency, pronunciation, text comprehension and speaking. We will use our imagination to predict and invent alternative endings for our stories,discuss the events and reflect on the characters! We will use: -Epic Library platform which holds one of the largest collection of books for leveled reading and comprehension....
This class is taught in English.
The students will learn: -how the stories are structured; -new vocabulary; -proper intonation while reading; -pronunciation; -how to look for information in the text using different reading and learning strategies; -how to read fluently.
Master's degree in Applied Linguistics (English), University course on teaching English as foreign language, course on psychological aspects of teaching languages to children.
Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned on a regular basis wich will include writing short essays on the stories kids have read (a code will be given to access the books on Epic Library platform). Homework is assigned every Friday to be handed over next Friday. NOTE! Doing homework is not abligatory for the course. If you have time for it, go for it!0 hours per week outside of class
