In this ongoing course, learners will meet weekly to discuss the Princess Truly series. We'll discuss a different book each week and share creative work based on the books. Students can expect a vocabulary and writing assignment each week.

Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 1

Beginner Level

Learners will enjoy reading, discussing, and writing about the Princess Truly series by Kelly Greenawalt.

Students must purchase the books for this book club before the start of class.

Students will read the assigned book of the week before class and take notes on the book using a brief outline from the teacher. Each student will have dedicated time to share their thoughts, writing, and art they created while following the book outline.

Students will learn how to discuss literature with their peers, share ideas, and encourage others' creative work.

I am a state-certified Elementary Teacher and reading therapist who can get kids reading on grade level in 12 clinical hours or less. In my private reading tutoring practice, I have watched my students become strong and independent spellers by using my approach. I have taught over two thousand students on Outschool since March 2020 in first through middle school grade levels.

Homework Offered
Each week, the learner needs to read the next assigned book and complete the book outline. The book outline includes a prompt for a writing assignment.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
