Preschool/Kindergarten Full Circle Time - Full Homeschool Curriculum
Mrs. Short, B.S., M. Ed.
In this on-going course, 3-4-5 year olds will experience the full pre-k/k curriculum in circle time each day.
Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this ongoing preschool/Kindergarten class, the Kentucky CCSS standards for those grades will be covered. Each day will focus on a different letter/shape/number. Each week will have a different theme. Students will participate in circle time with a limited number of learners each day as we have storytime, calendar time, and a fun lesson on our number/letter/shape of the day. We will always end our lesson with a hands-on activity to build fine motor skills and reinforce the topics discussed...
Students will use imagination in play and interactions with others. Students will investigate topics, ideas, and interests to learn new information. Students will use a variety of media and materials for exploration. Students will maintain focus when working on a task. Students will actively participate in storytelling, read-alouds, and individual opportunities to hear someone reading. The full curriculum I follow can be found here: https://kyecac.ky.gov/professionals/Early-Childhood-Standards/Resources/Documents/Standards%20for%20pdf%20Online%20Printable.pdf
