Students will learn, review, and practice all crucial and required topics of the pre-algebra middle school math, including integers, expressions, variables, radicals, statistics, probability, geometry, functions, polynomials, and more.
Class Experience

Welcome to Pre-Algebra! Each class does build so please be sure to review the prior weeks and have some knowledge on the lessons. Teachers will have, at minimum, a BA in an educational area and experience teaching math at a higher level.
Homework Offered
Homework and review material will be provided after class, but it is optional. However, I strongly recommend completing the extra review material outside of class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

1. Any printables, notes sheets, worksheets, etc. posted to the classroom before class. These should be printed and brought to class. Alternatively, the student can take notes in a notebook or on paper. 2. Please always bring paper and pencil with you to class. 3. A calculator is also required for some chapters. 4. A binder or folder is recommended to keep notes and worksheets organized.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
