By the end of the course, students will be able to: - Correctly identify and interpret common pet body language signals and behaviors for dogs, cats, small mammals, and reptiles. - Demonstrate proper techniques for picking up, holding, walking, feeding, grooming, and playing with dogs, cats, small mammals, and reptiles. - Recognize signs of illness, injury, or distress in pets and know when to seek veterinary assistance. - Create enrichment activities tailored to pets' needs. - Properly pet-proof a home by identifying and removing common hazards. - Design schedules that meet pets' needs, activity requirements, and routines. - Craft marketing materials using sample templates provided.
