With everything they have to do for their academics, it's important for them to also have time to meet, have fun with, and learn from new friends as well. I have taught on Outschool since 2020. I earned my BA in English from Washington University, and two Master's degrees in the Education field from Brown University and The George Washington University. I have taught language arts to learners in K-12 for over a decade in non-formal settings such as afterschool tutoring and weekend enrichment programs. In Hillsborough County, Florida, I was nominated at the SERVE Tutor of the year in 2012. I have also published poetry, magazine articles, and academic book chapters.
