OC stands for Original Character. An OC is often referring to a minor character in an existing canon whose role is being expanded by a fan-fiction writer or a completely new character who exists in a published canon. "Wings of Fire" and "Warrior Cats" both have violence and trauma. Although these are both children's book series' about Dragons and Cats, there is a fair amount of violence and death.
