The learner will improve reading fluency and/or comprehension, writing skills as appropriate to developmental level, and confidence in the entire area of Language Arts.
Editing with a teacher is a key learning activity which does not happen with out this homework; however, all homework is optional.

I am a K-12 certified special education teacher.  I understand the effort that students put toward learning goals, and I applaud all incremental growth.  I am accustomed to developing engaging, individualized lessons that fill gaps in student learning for a successful outcome. 
I also hold a TEFL certificate which qualifies me to teach students whose primary language is not English.

Homework Offered
Learners will be assigned writing homework to be completed between tutoring sessions which parents upload to the classroom or attach to an email for editing the following week.
