Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class students will come together with their love for Pokemon and art to build not only their art skills but their social skills. This ongoing class will be taught with the neurodivirgent learner in mind. The teacher will encourage students to participate with their peers while learning how to draw, trace and paint different Pokemon. Students will learn how to express themselves through their art. Students will learn how to have relationships with their peers in a comfortable setting with topics they all enjoy.
I have over 20 years education and experience working with students with special needs. I have worked as 1:1 special needs assistant. paraprofessional instructional aide, online special needs English teacher. I have an easy going approach that makes learners feel comfortable in their environment.

Basic materials for each lesson: paper: watercolor paper, drawing paper, canvas etc. (any paper will work for drawing) pencils: I prefer a soft charcoal pencil or regular no. 2 pencil, mechanical pencil etc. colored pencils, markers, oil pastels, paint, water color paint brushes tracing paper eraser objects or tools to trace or make circles (protractor) graphite paper Painting weeks: acrylic paint canvas or watercolor paper water paintbrushes paper towel or cloth towel smock, table cloth etc to protect yourself and workspace mixed media weeks will have materials posted in advance of lesson
