This 1:1 tutoring class covers academic writing and is based on learner needs. Learners will write better sentences, paragraphs, essays, reports, and research papers while overcoming writers' block and improving confidence.
Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
My one-on-one classes can be customized to fit your learner's needs. I will work with the learner on a writing topic each week, assign homework if desired, and give constructive feedback on all work. Each class session will include a mini-lesson (very short lecture), examples, practice, and feedback. I have over 25 years of experience teaching English/language arts, writing, public speaking, and literature. The majority of my experience is with college students; however, I have also worked with upper elementary, middle school, and high school students over the years. I have experience with gifted education and remedial education. And I homeschool my own children.
