- A heavy duty mixed media journal, any size (smaller notebooks will be more portable but larger books are fine as well). I recommend purchasing a spiral-bound notebook with watercolor paper or "mixed media" paper (heavyweight art paper).
- I recommend having a variety of mediums available, including: watercolor paints (any brand), colored pencils, watercolor pencils, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, glue, scrap paper, tissue and construction paper, oil pastels, glue, etc. 
- Binder clips to hold down notebook pages
- Newspaper and paper towels, water and paintbrushes 

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
