Multiplying Multi-Digit Numbers!

In this one time refresher course, students will practice their multiplication and problem solving skills! Students will brush up on their multiplication facts and multiply multi-digit numbers (**see class image as example**).

Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6

Multi-digit multiplication (see class image as example) will be the main focus of this course. However, I'm prepared to adjust based on the learners enrolled! :)

We will begin with multiplication fact practice using some digital flashcards! Next, I will show a couple of examples for students to practice alongside me. Then, students will complete a few problems independently to show what they've learned. Finally, we'll review and wrap up with a fun activity or game! A multiplication table...

Students will be able to multiply multi-digit multiplication problems using standard algorithm. 

For example, students will be given practice problems such as: 
32 x 25
325 x 26
3,235 x 21

Homework Offered
Practice problems and additional resources will be given at the end of each session, not mandatory homework. 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students will need scratch paper, pencils, and if available, a separate device for Kahoot. An additional device for Kahoot is NOT required.

Students will also receive a Google Slides link from Mrs. Linne the day of class, to gain access to a game that will be played at he end of class time.
