In this ongoing class we will play a Super Mario memory math game focusing on a different set of multiplication facts each week. We will start with our 0's and 1's and proceed all the way through our 12 times tables, focusing on one set each week. Students will have a handout every week that we will complete together which will help them learn that week's multiplication facts. Students will learn/practice/review multiplication facts while also flexing their memory muscles. They will learn how to encourage each other and how to participate in team based problem solving. They will also be able to share to the group about their favorite characters and/or games enhancing their group speaking skills.
