Class Experience
In this flex course, learners will practise reading out loud through a different theme each week. Learners will discover a different aspect of the spoken word before putting it together in their own spoken piece. ESL friendly. Spoken Word is an umbrella term that includes poetry readings, poetry slams, jazz poetry and hip hop. Spoken Word differs from written poetry because of its emphasis on the rhythmic way words sound.
