In this class students will build their very own lamp using a lamp kit and base of their choosing

Beginner Level
In this class students will build a unique lamp by picking out a unique base for their lamp We will use a basic lamp kit with all the required pieces to build their lamp from the unique base they have chosen. The base of the lamp needs to be a material that the student can cut a hole into and still be sturdy to use as a lamp once complete (i.e. an old 2 liter soda bottle) Once their lamp is complete they will test it out to make sure it works correctly. Message for parents that choose to purchase the 1st choice in the learner's supply list: As a safety precaution and so your student will be prepared for class please prepare your child's bottle by cutting a whole into the side of the bottle near the bottom. The average lamp has a hole near the bottom of the base that is used to run the cord from the bottom of the lamp to the top. This hole will be used for that purpose!
