Students study and practice professional, effective physicality and vocal techniques while delivering multiple speech types such as debate, persuasive speaking, and storytelling. Students will learn types of presentations, such as persuasive, informative, personal narrative, debate, and storytelling (fictional and anecdotal) while learning effective speaking styles to capture their audience, convince their judges, and impress any listeners. Students will also practice leadership by guiding their classmates through a speech exercise of their own design.
