Introduction to Friendship Bracelets - Braiding for Beginners

In this 2 week class, students will learn the basics of braiding, using string or thread to create friendship bracelets. Students will learn a three strand and four strand braiding, which they can use these skills to create bracelets!

Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3

Beginner Level

In this 2 week class, students will learn how to braid friendship bracelets. Students first learn 3 strand braids. During class, we will practice and answer any questions students may have. Once students have learned the 3 strand braid, they will have the option of adding beads to their strands to create a different look to their bracelets. Week 2, we will learn to create a 4 strand braid.

This class is taught in English.

Students will learn how to do a three strand and four strand braid.

I am a certified teacher, having taught in Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grade 2, and Grade 3 classes.

Students will need 3-4 different coloured string/thread, tape, a table top, and optional beads if they want to add them to their bracelets they create.
