In this 4 week course, students will be introduced to the concept of fractions. Proficiency in fractions sets learners up to learn more advanced mathematical topics such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry.

Beginner Level

→ In this Introduction to Fractions class, learners will deep dive into a fun, live, and engaging experience to understand the importance of fractions and how they occur in our day to day lives. Learners will be introduced to techniques and strategies to solve questions relating to fractions! For a beginning course, this class covers topics between 1st-3rd grade! This class is taught in English.

✍︎ I was previously a Math Instructor at Mathnasium teaching to elementary level learners, mainly upper level elementary grades. I taught mostly fractions, order of operations, and beginner Algebra.

Homework Offered
There will be 3-5 short questions that will be assigned to all learners after class relating to the lesson of the day. Learners are welcome to request more homework for extra practice or to better understand the specific concept. 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will assign short quizzes once a week! I will provide feedback and extra support to individuals based on quiz performance. 
Grades Offered

Notebook or paper along with a writing utensil is required to complete the class!

I will be using the Khan Academy Fraction Course to teach my lessons!
