In this 12 Week FLEX class learners with some experience in speech writing will advance in their knowledge of writing, and presenting creative speeches

Class Experience

Intermediate Level

In this class learners will improve their speech writing skills and be able to choose from a variety of topics and facts to use in their speech, as well improving their public speaking skills. Each week they will write part of or an entire speech, which they should post in the classroom for feedback from the teacher, then record a video of themselves giving the speech for more feedback. Other learners can also comment on the speech and video as well. There will be discussion questions posted...

Homework Offered
Each week learners will write a speech, record themselves giving it and upload it to the classroom, either by recording or link to private YouTube video4+ hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
Parents will be sent percentages each week for speeches, broken down by area, based on what has been covered so far in the class and averaged for the overall percentage. Along with this will be overall feedback on the speech.
