US Grade 1
In this small group class, we will build important First Grade math skills such as: skip counting, number sense, 3D shapes, story problems, comparison problems, addition and subtraction using numbers 1-20, doubles facts, place value, and U.S. coin values (penny, nickel, and dime) We also learn to draw and use the following models to show our thinking: Ten frames, number lines, domino models, dot drawings, tens and ones. Week 1: 11/26-12/2 -Practicing doubles (2+2=4 , 5+5=10, etc) -Solving...
