I taught in brick-and-mortar schools from 2016-2020 teaching all grades K-12. I also worked with special needs students both in classroom settings and as a para-educator. I have been working on my bachelor's in middle school science after switching from a BA in psychology, with previous education in psychology and early childhood development with a focus on special needs children. I have been homeschooling my own 4 children (now ages 23, 20, 8, and 4) for the last 10 years, all with autism and ADHD. I myself have all forms of dyslexia, and two of my children have various forms of dyslexia as well, so my experience when it comes to teaching with dyslexia stems from myself, my children, and the children from my teaching background.
