In this two-part course, students will learn proper dining etiquette in preparation for the holiday season.
Class Experience
During this two-part class participants will engage in a variety of activities to increase their understanding of good table etiquette. During the first session, students will brainstorm about dining dos and don’ts. Together, we will review basic table manners and why they are important. Next, students will learn about various utensils, how to use them, and when. Lastly, we will engage in an interactive mock dinner to put their dining etiquette knowledge and skills to use! Participants will learn basic table manners and why they matter. Students will discover various utensils and learn the correct use of cutlery. A mock dinner will serve as a safe space to learn and practice dining etiquette. Children with good manners grow into polite and respectful adults. You can use every meal you eat together as a family to reinforce these important lessons to your child.
