I am a certified teacher with a Master's degree and a Native Speaker of German with no accent. For more than 15 years I have taught German as a Second Language (DaZ), German as a Foreign Language (DaF) as well as ESL and French in Germany, France, UK, and Canada.

Learners may need paper and pencil to write. Learners might want to use different colours, they will also receive flash cards with the new vocabulary that can be printed out each week. Young learners may need parental help to access the Outschool classroom, the youtube/canva videos, or to download the materials. Learners will write their own sentences/texts that may need to be uploaded into the classroom, if they like. You may also use a computer program such as Word, Google Document, or Canva to make a PDF to upload. This is up to the family's preferences. Parents should be aware that we will be using youtube/canva/Edpuzzle/Nearpod videos in this class to watch the tutorial and learners need parental consent to use these third-party tools. Learners might also use Kahoot! for an interactive quiz challenge. Instructions will be given in the classroom.
