Evidence shows that when children learn to manipulate the sounds in words, it gives them the strong foundation to become strong readers. In this 30 minute class, students will do the following: * determine the beginning sound of a word after looking at a picture. * write the beginning and ending sounds they hear in a word. * identify and produce rhyming words.
