This class is taught in English.

Students will be able to do long division with single digit divisors into numbers  up to 9999 with remainders.  

I have a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Alberta with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.  

I've taught over 30 years in the classroom both in Canada and in Australia as part of an exchange program.

I have developed education resources including building apps for Apple, coding online programs for math, creating math games for math fact practice and developing other math resources for schools.  

My students have achieved top placements at national math and memory competitions.  

Homework Offered
Students will be assigned worksheets with long division questions and are expected to do 10-15 minutes of practice outside of class.  
Assessments Offered
Students will be given a pre-test and a post-test.  It will be a sheet of questions that test each divisor 2 through 9 with a simple and advance question for each.  Parents will be able to see which skills have been learned and how proficient they with long division.
