Forest schooling brings together earth science, art, math, writing, and wellness in nature. With engaging hands-on activities, the outdoors becomes the classroom. Backyard or park, any natural setting will do!

Class Experience

I am a licensed teacher, girl scout alumni, hiking enthusiast, and a mother. My teaching style is to give direction, and then watch children learn and grow on their own unique paths.

Students will need: blank journal, clay (store-bought or home-made), old tupperware container, and other readily accessible supplies (scrap paper, pencils, etc.) To make watercolor paint from leaves you will also need baking soda, white vinegar, corn syrup, and cornstarch.
