**PLEASE NOTE** This is a FLEX class and is PRE-RECORDED. THIS MEANS STUDENTS WILL WATCH THE PRE-RECORDED VIDEO. There are no live meetings. All interactions between students and the teacher will happen on the class page. This class will be presented via powerpoint and a pre-recorded demonstration drawings. As a veteran art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.

Images of red cardinals (a google image search will bring LOTS of choices!) Print favorites, if possible. Good quality, 80# or higher drawing paper, or Bristol Board. Canson and Strathmore tablets are great, and can be purchased at Michaels where they are often on sale. 9X12 or 11X14 are good sizes. Pencils, sharpener, eraser Colored pencils or crayons (or both) black Sharpie watercolor paint, brush and water (optional)
