Students will gain an understanding of finical literacy to prepare them for the real world.
I am certified in secondary education meaning that I am certified to teach 7-12 grade students. I also have taught Financial literacy for 4 years as a unit in both US history and World history. I took several economic classes in order to become social studies certified in the state of Maryland!
Homework Offered
Some homework may be required in the last 4 weeks of the class, but only for the project, which they will have time to work on in the meetings, so that I can discuss and monitor progress!Assessments Offered

The source material will vary as we will use a copy of one of my paychecks to examine taxes, the difference between gross and net income, and other finding of a paycheck. We will also use YouTube videos for visual learners.
