Finding Main Idea!
This is part one of a five part series to help you or your child to identify the main idea of a passage. This will help with reading comprehension. Let's work together so we can all become better readers!
Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 5
Beginner Level
Welcome! In this class we will be learning how to find the main idea of a passage! We will also briefly discuss key details and how they help us know what the main idea is. This class will be 30 minutes once a week for the next 5 weeks. We will be learning together and then you will have a chance to show off your skills! We will also review what we have learned periodically use different games such as Kahoot. I can't wait to meet you! We are going to have so much fun becoming better readers...
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of main idea and how to identify within a passage.

The assessments for this class will be done in-class. It will be a quick Google Form assessment that the teacher can use to gauge whether or not the student is understanding what we are learning. These are required for the course.Grades Offered
