"Exploring the Genetic Code" is a dynamic unit study designed to introduce middle school students to the fascinating world of genetics. Over the course of seven weeks, students will delve into the fundamental concepts of DNA, genes, dominant and recessive traits, Punnett squares, mutations, selective breeding, and genetic engineering. Teachers will have at least 5 years experience teaching middle school science.
