The goal for each student is to be able to successfully think of a profitable small business, and plan on launching it to earn money as soon as possible.
My knowledge and experience comes from my college education, and actually starting and running several small businesses. I hold the following degrees: AA in Business BA in Personal Finance BA in Entrepreneurship I have been an entrepreneur since I was 5 years old. When I was 5 to about 10 years old I would make arts and crafts and go around to my neighbors houses and sell them. From 10 to 18 years old I had a landscaping company, with 2 other employees, where I made substantially more money then friends of mine that were working at grocery stores, and other common teenage jobs. As an adult I also started and ran for about 7 years a business consulting company where I would help people think of and start small businesses. Everything from their business plan, to marketing, and launching. My most successful business that I ran after the Coast Guard, was a cleaning company. I owned and ran it for about 10 years. I had 5 employees, and we provided commercial and residential cleaning. I decided to close the business down during COVID, because I lost most of my clients, and at the same time I wanted a change in my life. Right now, while I am primarily staying in Costa Rica, I am planning on starting a wilderness survival school, where I will teach youngsters and adults basic bushcraft and survival skills (something I also teach on Outschool. I am currently at the planning stages of this business idea.
