Welcome to Easy Grammar. This is a eight-week class teaches your learner the basics of grammar. Each week we study one of the eight parts of speech and learn to identify them in sentences. Lesson 1: What is a noun? A noun is a word which names as person, place or thing. In lesson 1, we will read sentences and use the definition to identify concrete and abstract nouns. Learners will know how to identify the parts of speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions and interjections) in a range of fiction and non-fiction sentences.
I am an experienced headteacher and my twenty years of experience as a qualified teacher means that I will help your learner to understand, practice and master English grammar. Learning English grammar is important because this knowledge helps your learner to identify good writing styles and to write accurately themselves. Beyond Outschool, I am reading for an MPhil at Cambridge University and I am writing a book on mathematics.
Homework Offered
