This set of classes will focus on recommended foundational words that contain dipthongs. These are vowel letters such as /ai/, /ou/, and /ew/ that combine to make one syllable. Students will develop their foundational reading skills and be able to spell commonly used words with dipthongs. By encoding and decoding words, struggling readers will solidify any previous knowledge and all students can be well-prepared for the next level of reading.
Samantha Fitschen is certified in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in the State of Pennsylvania (US) and a BS from Slippery Rock University. She has pursued her Masters as a Reading Specialist at The University of Pittsburgh. Teaching for over 30 years, Samantha is also a professional actor and obtained her Theater Degree from Roosevelt University in 1992.
