This set of classes will focus on recommended foundational words with consonant blends. Blends are letter combinations such as /ld/, /rk/, and /st/ and found at the rime - or end - of a word. Students will develop their foundational reading skills and be able to spell commonly used words with consonant blends (final sounds). By encoding and decoding words, struggling readers will solidify any previous knowledge and all students can be well-prepared for the next level of reading.
Samantha is certified in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in the state of Pennsylvania (US). She has pursued her Masters as a Reading Specialist at The University of Pittsburgh. Research-based best practices in teaching reading are incorporated and continually updated.
